Watch Out for Red Flags

Be careful if a school cannot clearly explain its curriculum, accreditation, tuition fees or admission rules. Parents should also check whether academic results and university offers can be verified.

Other warning signs may include unclear extra fees, frequent staff changes, poor communication with parents, or information on the website that is old or inconsistent.

A newer school is not automatically a bad choice, but families should look more closely at its teachers, curriculum, facilities and student support before applying.
