Who We Are

China’s First Multilingual School Listing Platform
for International Students

With a decade of K–12 education experience in China, Alifa Education Services was founded by educators who understand what families and their children actually need. We serve two audiences: foreign national families seeking the right school for their child in China, and upstream partners outside China — agencies, consultancies, and organisations — placing students into Chinese K–12 education. For both, we provide the school intelligence, the language access, and the support structure to make it work.

Our platform is available in English, Bahasa, Korean, Japanese, and Russian, serving families from 20+ Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries across Southeast Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. For these families, finding quality Chinese education has historically meant navigating dense, Chinese-language information with no reliable guide. We built Alifa to change that — with structured school data, multilingual profiles, and real human guidance at every step.

WHO THIS PLATFORM SERVES
Foreign national students (non-Chinese passport holders) and their families seeking K–12 school admission in China — from 20+ BRI countries, in their own language. Our mandate is the early development of international students at the K–12 level, through school discovery, informed placement, and professional guardianship for every minor who studies here. For students aged 18 and above seeking an Associate Diploma, Alifa's Vocational College programme is available as a separate document — contact us at business@alifaedtech.com to request it.
K–12 SCHOOLS
Primary Through Senior Secondary
Alifa serves two family profiles — expat families already in China seeking the right local school, and families outside China sending their child independently for high school qualifications. Our platform lists 900+ schools across 100 data points each, including the latest fees, admission requirements, and curriculum details.

Schools span every budget and curriculum — from Chinese National Curriculum adapted for foreign students and CAL (Chinese as an Additional Language) support, to IGCSE, A Levels, IB Continuum, American, Australian, Canadian, and HKDSE frameworks. Alifa's education consultants provide personalised school guidance, counselling, and a clear university pathway and matriculation roadmap from day one — so every school choice is made with the next stage already in view.
VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS
Sports, Arts & Specialist Skills
China's vocational high schools offer a remarkable and largely unknown opportunity for foreign minor students aged 15 to 19. These are specialist secondary institutions built around a discipline — sports, culinary arts, acting, drama, visual arts, dance, and skilled trades — delivering structured, professional-track education that combines practical mastery with academic grounding.

Alifa is the only platform that makes this sector accessible to international families. No other platform lists or facilitates enrolment in Chinese vocational high schools for foreign minor students. And regardless of discipline, our consultants set out a clear higher education pathway — so students and parents know exactly which direction each vocational track leads, from secondary school all the way to degree level.

Clarity of Purpose

Trust is built on transparency. Alifa is a data aggregator, listing platform, and admission facilitator — not a school, not an operator, and not a visa provider. Here is an honest account of what we do, and what we deliberately do not do.
What Alifa Is — and What It Is Not
Trust is built on transparency. Alifa is a data aggregator, listing platform, and admission facilitator — not a school, not an operator, and not a visa provider. Here is an honest account of what we do, and what we deliberately do not do.
ALIFA IS
A data aggregator, multilingual listing platform, and admission facilitator— providing structured, accurate school information across 5 languages and guiding foreign national families from first enquiry through to confirmed enrolment.
A channel distribution partnerfor overseas education agencies, student placement organisations, and upstream partners across 20+ BRI countries.
A professional guardianship services providerfor foreign national minors under 18 — covering K–12 enrolment and University Foundation Programmes.
A study tour matchmaking and distribution platform— connecting international schools and agencies with China's school and operator network.
A neutral platform. We represent listed schools fairly and hold no ownership stake in any institution.
Free for families.Consultation, school guidance, and admission support carry no charge for parents or students. Our placement commission is paid by the school upon successful admission — not by the family. Guardianship services, where engaged, are a separate, independently priced arrangement.
ALIFA IS NOT
A school owner, operator, or educator. Every institution in our database is independently owned, operated, and licensed by its own governing body. Alifa holds no ownership stake, management role, teaching function, or qualification-issuing authority in any school.
An employer or recruiter of educators and teaching staff. We do not place, refer, or hire teachers or school professionals for any institution in our network.
A scholarship or discount provider. Scholarships, tuition discounts, and sibling discounts are granted entirely at each school's discretion. Our 900+ school network does offer such benefits — through their institutions, not through us.
A boarding management or student welfare operations company. Day-to-day boarding supervision, on-campus welfare, and in-school student management sit entirely with the school. Alifa's guardianship role is the external, parent-facing liaison — not in-school operations.
A visa provider. We do not issue or process Student X1 visas. In China, only government-licensed and accredited institutions may enrol foreign students and facilitate the X1 study visa process. Alifa facilitates the admission — the visa pathway follows from the school's enrolment confirmation.
A study tour operator or service provider. We hold no operational role in any programme and cannot provide referrals on behalf of service providers in our network.

For Families & Students

We Find the Right School — For Your Child, Your Budget, Your Goals
Navigating China's K–12 education landscape is complex — hundreds of schools, dozens of curricula, varying fee structures, and a system that operates largely in Chinese. With a decade of hands-on experience placing international families into Chinese schools, Alifa makes it simple.
Our team understands what genuinely matters in a school decision — and what to look past. We match your child to the right school based on academic curriculum fit, budget, Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities (ECA/CCA), early development goals, and holistic development. Whether your priority is academic rigour, performing arts, sport, language immersion, or a balanced all-round environment, we have worked with schools across every category.
We believe a child's education should develop the whole person — intellectually, socially, culturally, and physically. China offers a uniquely rich environment for this: structured Chinese language acquisition, deep cultural exposure, strong sporting and artistic programmes, and academic pathways that open doors both inside China and internationally.
Our consultation is free of charge for families. Speak with an Alifa education consultant in your language — English, Bahasa, Korean, Japanese, or Russian — and let us guide you through every step, from first shortlist to confirmed enrolment.
Guardianship Services — For Foreign National Minors
When your child studies in China and you are not there, Alifa ensures they are never without a trusted, accountable local adult in their corner. Our professional guardianship service covers every foreign national minor under 18 in our network — with full parental liaison, welfare oversight, and emergency support built in from day one.

WHO WE SERVE AS GUARDIAN

Any foreign national minor under 18 studying in China without a parent or legal guardian physically present.
K–12 STUDENTS
School-Age Minors
International students enrolled in Chinese K–12 schools requiring a local guardian for school communications, emergency decisions, welfare oversight, and parental liaison.
UFP STUDENTS
University Foundation Programme Minors
Minors transitioning into Chinese universities via University Foundation Programmes who remain under 18 and require the same professional guardianship standard as K–12 students.
Our guardianship framework is structured through a formal agreement between Alifa, the parent or legal guardian overseas, and the school or institution in China. We act as the trusted local contact — available for school events, parent meetings, welfare concerns, and emergencies — so families abroad have genuine peace of mind, not just a name on a form.

For Upstream Partners Outside Of China

Your Channel Into China's School Network
Alifa is the dedicated China-side school network and distribution partner for overseas agencies, schools, and organisations placing students into Chinese K–12 education. We hold the supply-side infrastructure — 900+ schools, multilingual profiles, and admission data — so you can place students into China with confidence and at scale.
Our partnership framework is built for upstream partners: transparent commission arrangements, territorial clarity where relevant, formal placement documentation, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of every student placed through our network. We work with partners across 20+ BRI source markets and welcome conversations at every stage — from first enquiry to signed agreement.

ON STUDY TOURS — A NOTE ON TRANSPARENCY
The credibility of what Alifa represents internationally depends entirely on the quality and international experience of our service providers. We are a platform, not an operator — and we are honest about that distinction. When an international partner connects with a programme through Alifa, they are connecting with the school or operator who owns and delivers it. We hold no operational role and cannot make representations about any provider's past programmes or track record. Our role is to make the connection well.

For Investors & Cooperating Institutions

A Position in China's K–12 Market That Is Hard to Replicate
"
A foreign company cannot build Alifa's China-side school network and local trust infrastructure. A Chinese company cannot build Alifa's multilingual BRI distribution layer, the family relationships, and the upstream partner working trust that come with it. Alifa occupies both — and that is the position worth investing in.

TODAY — REVENUE GENERATING & OPERATIONAL

Alifa's revenue model is school-side and commission-based: partner schools pay a student placement commission upon successful admission; families pay nothing for consultation or admission support. This is supplemented by school listing subscriptions, B2B study tour distribution fees from operators and DMCs, and guardianship service fees — a separately priced arrangement for families who require in-country guardianship for their minor. All four lines are active today.
Alifa is already operational across South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the GCC region — with active working partnerships in 15+ countries and regions, moving students and generating placement activity across multiple corridors simultaneously. Indonesia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan are among our earliest signed agreements; the network extends well beyond them. Our multilingual school profile infrastructure — 900+ schools, 100 data points each, in 5 languages — is proprietary content built over years that no new entrant can shortcut. Each revenue line reinforces the others: families who enrol through Alifa and engage guardianship stay with the platform for the full duration of their child's time in China; upstream partners who place students build recurring volume; study tour organisers operate on a parallel demand base independent of the family channel.

BUILDING — PLATFORM & GEOGRAPHIC EXPANSION

Alifa's edtech experience drives continuous, iterative development of alifaedtech.com — features and functions built in direct response to demand signals from families, upstream partners, and China-based schools. We do not build speculatively. The platform is also architected for horizontal replication — the same school listing infrastructure, placement model, and local business architecture that operates in China can be deployed market by market. Vietnam is the first identified target: it has one of the largest communities of Chinese-educated alumni in Southeast Asia, strong BRI education ties, and a growing middle class actively seeking structured overseas secondary schooling. India follows: with the world's largest outbound student pipeline and rapidly rising demand for China education pathways, it represents the single largest addressable expansion market available to Alifa without changing the core model.

NEXT — PREMIUM SERVICES & HIGHER-VALUE CLIENTS

Two premium verticals activate from our existing infrastructure with no new operational build required. First, high-net-worth family services — partnering with private banking institutions and wealth managers whose HNW clients seek curated China education experiences and premium school visit programmes, served through our existing school network and study tour distribution channel. Second, a premium college counselling tier — Alifa's existing strength in university pathway mapping and matriculation roadmap planning for K–12 and vocational high school students becomes a structured, chargeable advisory service for families and upstream partners who want end-to-end guidance from school selection all the way to degree-level entry, in China or overseas.
For Cooperating Institutions
If you are a Chinese edtech company, curriculum provider, content creator, or education service firm with a product that international schools and families need — Alifa has the distribution channel you are missing. We hold 15,000+ overseas schools and agencies across 20+ BRI markets. You hold the product. The question is simply whether what you offer fits what our network is looking for. If it does, we would rather build together than build in parallel. Reach us at business@alifaedtech.com to open the conversation.
For investors, the entry point is a platform that is already working — not a concept seeking validation. The network exists. The trust exists. The infrastructure exists. The question is how far and how fast it scales from here.
