Keystone Academy China began in 2010. Educators from China and the U.S. came together with one goal. They wanted a school that mixed Chinese roots with a global view.

Admission Requirements and Process

Keystone uses a stage-based assessment system:

  • Pre-K to Grade 1: No written exams; emphasis is placed on aligning the family’s educational philosophy with the school’s.
  • Grades 2–8: Requires MAP assessments in English reading, writing, and math. MAP assessments are adaptive online tests tracking student growth in reading, language, and math. Also, students in Grade 3 and above must submit writing samples in both Chinese and English.
  • Grades 9–12: Must take the SSAT. Tuition for 2025 reaches ¥412,500/year (including boarding).

The school gives scholarships. These are for bright students and those who need help with money. In 2022, some students got into top universities like Princeton. This shows that Keystone gives strong academic support.
